About SaveMyVid
A fast, simple online utility for downloading videos from public social media posts with no sign-ups required.
What SaveMyVid Does
SaveMyVid is an independent online video downloader utility engineered to make downloading and saving videos from public social media platforms (Twitter / X and Instagram) simple, fast, and reliable. When a user pastes a public post URL, SaveMyVid inspects the public media metadata and presents direct MP4 download links for all available video resolutions provided by the original post.
What Information is Processed
The service uses the following data flow:
- Submitted URLs: When you enter a post URL, our server resolves the public syndication endpoints to identify progressive video streams. We do not link these URLs to user identities.
- No Personal Data: We do not require account registration, passwords, email addresses, or payment details.
- No Persistent Media Storage: SaveMyVid does not store, archive, or host any video files on its servers. Media streams are delivered directly from source content delivery networks to your personal device.
Our Core Principles
Video processing and PDF processing work differently; see the Privacy Policy for the data each feature uses.
No intrusive popups, no forced software installations, and no registration barriers.
